The author, a contemporary artist and master of architecture, synthesizes two mediums in himself - architecture and painting. At present, painting is presented in the Novosibirsk Space "Art-El". In painting, the artist found his own method - this is the so-called aesthetics of expressive gesture. Gestures, brush movements, strokes, lines, strokes, spots are printed on twenty-three canvases, showing mysterious images born of the moving elements of inspiration. The mysterious names of the paintings - for example, the same Cloud Helper - allude to the sources of these inspirations. The dynamic and very decisive application of colorful layers on canvases translates states of confusion and anxiety. This anxiety seems abstract, and one of the interpretations of this experience may be an attempt to answer the question: how is it possible for a defenseless romantic soul to rush about in an incomprehensible and aggressive world? The exhibition stuns, captivates, drafts of unrestrained meanings fall on the viewer.

Archetypism is the obvious and apparently the main intention of Taia Akulova's creativity. The artist's effort is aimed at a kind of derivation, or manifestation, of an image from uncertainty and mystery, as if hidden on the other side of an empty blank canvas. Elucidation of the image is a question that the author constantly asks: "Are you an image? How clear are you - clarified? Consciously, subconsciously or unconsciously - it does not matter, but what is important is that with all the fibers of the soul a sensitive artist listens to the manifestation of mysterious images from forms, gestures, colors, textures - various materializations, or incarnations: from the uncertainty of the spirit - into the certainty of flesh, paint, mess.
The images are connected with reality and dreams of the author, with his body and his intuitions. So, in a dream, the dreamer acts ghostly. The dreamer doubts whether I am or not, that is, he acts and at the same time observes his actions from the side. Hence the appearance on canvases of self-portrait, even automorphic figures. These figures break through the element of uncertainty. Just as you do not follow the swirling autumn leaves, so in a dream you will not have time to realize the flickering of lines, images, ghosts.
At the heart of the exhibition is the archetype of the Cloud Assistant. According to the author's mythology, the archetype, born from the microcosm of the artist, by analogy with the birth from the macrocosm, is called upon to mystically help the artist to see and hear. For Taya Akulova, the expectation and meeting of the Cloud Helper is represented by the main creative intention.

It is amazing how conflicting qualities coexist simultaneously in the outer world and the inner world - everything can turn out to be quite illusory. In parallel, there are day and night, war and peace, horror and beauty. In parallel realities of one world, there can be various forms of life and their manifestations. In my work, I explore the tense relationships of these opposite phenomena: I pass images and symbols collected from mythologems and archetypes through the prism of my aesthetics of expressive gesture. And then I watch how images coming from the subconscious are thrown onto the canvas, break through or barely appear. So, my Cloud Assistant came to me.
